Our production resourcing table is getting an upgrade with refined components and a smoother workflow

A limitation was identified where users cannot add a forgotten production to an already-created call sheet template without starting over. We could look at adding the capability to add production when a callsheet is already created.

The callsheet time selector could learn the most frequently entered times and present them as quick-select options, reducing clicks and typing.

Role-Based Call Times: A frequent manual task is adjusting individual call times for different roles (e.g., photographer at 8:00 AM, digitech at 8:15 AM). The current system only uses a general call time, requiring editors to change times for numerous individuals.

A critical and daily pain point involves managing external recipient lists. Currently, all users share a single, global list of email contacts, which becomes cluttered and impractical for multi-team environments. Teams are forced to manually add individual email addresses for every call sheet, a process described as taking significant time for lists of 15-30 people. Users would like the ability to create a batch of default recipients which can be batch added to a callsheet. Teams and shoots may have a different set of recipients so to save time, creating a group recipient template would allow teams to specify and select the correct group for a callsheet.

Introduce the ability to customize the callout public link to a custom domain.

Users would like the ability to add a summary of financial totals within the production table. Users would like to see: Planned Total Actuals Total Look to allow customization of table for each user.

Improve the experience of adding custom fields onto an entity. Enhancement includes: Flagging to the user if a custom field already exists Improve search capability to find custom field Improving ability to create a new field if it does not exist. Upgrade to our newer refined components.

Introduce pinboard gallery within the new table design

A small but useful interface improvement was requested: adding a "select all" checkbox to the external recipients list to make it quicker to delete a long list of contacts when needed or expose the “delete” button to quickly remove.

A common scenario involves crew members who have both a personal and an agent email address. Currently, the system only populates one email on the call sheet and in the external recipient list. The desired solution is to allow multiple email addresses to be associated with a contact and either displayed on the sheet or, at minimum, made selectable from a dropdown when adding recipients.

Users would want a way to duplicate a productions and have the option to carry the same assigned roles / resources into it.

Users want a way to easily drag / edit production dates within the calendar and ensure the assigned resources within are automatically updated with their bookings.

Users would like the ability to see the total expenses amount for a booking within the budget export in a production.

Users would like the ability to associate a shortlist to a production so that they can easily assign talent in that shortlist into the associated production.

Have the ability to separate talent in a shortlist into groups for easier navigation and categorization of large shortlists

There are cases where it’s clearer to lock the assignment dates with the bookings dates to reduce confusion of what get’s calculated in budget. We’re looking at ways to make this clearer

Currently location search is locked to the name of the city. Users would like a way to search via radius of a given location. A nice addition would be search within broader groups like country or continent.

An improved experience in entering and update talent information. This will include: Editable field toggle - eliminating the issue of accidental edits due to exposed inputs. Collapsible groups - Ability to group fields for clearer organization. Improved field types - A refined, smoother experience across all field types.
